The National Institute for Legislative Studies
(NILS) was established early in 2011 following the enactment of the
enabling legislation. NILS is designed to be a centre of excellence
providing technical support to the work of the National Assembly through
research and publications on democratic governance, and legislative
practice and procedures.
Job Title: Research Assistant (Socio-Political Research)
Department: Research and Public Policy Analysis Department
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out surveys, collection and analysis of data relating to socio-political problems
- Any other relevant task as may be directed by superior officers
Qualifications and Requirements
- An honors Bachelor’s degree obtained at first class or second class (upper division) and a master’s degree in disciplines such as Economics, Law, Political Science and other approved by Management
- Entry into post by appointment.
