Job Title: Sport Development Manager
Summary of key responsibilities:
- Create marketing strategy around target sports segments.
- Work creatively to brainstorm new ideas in the sports market to move the brand/products forward while maintaining its look and feel and overall message & identity.
- Define and develop promotions for sports segment
- Market the newly develop sport development products via proposals, interactive and direct marketing meetings.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance to continually improve
- Manage the daily execution of marketing campaign, including achieving sales target.
- Create a marketing, communication and performance plan for all strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the creation and development of sponsorships and events/promotions initiatives aligned to the brand, consumer, business strategies that generate awareness for clients products
- Manage the daily deliverables and marketing support based on partnerships and sponsorships
- Negotiate contract renewals and new contracts.
- Manage clients, ensure their commitments and contractual timings plus ensure payments are timely and renewal process is managed effectively
Educational Requirement and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Physical education/ Human Kinetics
- 3-5 years working experience, preferably in sport marketing.
- Experience in sport management or other form of recent involvement in sport is a must
- Candidate should not be more than 32 years
- Good project management skills with excellent oral and writing communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Candidates who are have attained coaching position/ coaching degrees are encouraged to apply
- Must be a Sports enthusiast
- Highly motivated, takes initiative, and able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively operate with high energy, flexibility, and enthusiasm
- The manager must be a results-oriented professional that can lead others, develop, and utilize efficient processes, capabilities and tools to optimize lead generation.
