Description
The senior financial / Supplier analyst (Market Intelligence Team) is
responsible for providing timely, accurate and informative financial /
Supplier analysis to key stakeholders within TUCN to qualify financially
Local Contractors and to follow up Suppliers Financial Health.
Level in Company organization Chart:
N+1 position Head of Strategic Sourcing (Market Intelligence, Planning and Category Management Coordination)
This position will be in Lagos Nigeria and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Examine and analyze financial information to determine financial status /
risks and prepares financial reports concerning contractor financial
health: Reviews data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities,
capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures
Make recommendation regarding improving financial position of TUCN suppliers
Implement, maintain and follow up qualification processes to ensure the
availability of qualified Suppliers per category of goods and services
Develop and maintain a qualified supplier database
Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing TUCN
Suppliers panel; preparing reports; making presentations of findings,
analyses, and recommendations.
Assist on ad hoc projects as required, linked to Market Intelligence and Supplier Relationship Management activities
Qualification:
Strong analytical accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Diagnosis,
Statistical Analysis skills gained in a different International
Financial and Audit Companies (4+ years minimum mandatory), combined
with superior attention to detail
Consulting oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
in a dynamic environment with a track record of delivered results.
Effective communication skills to explain difficult concepts to non finance colleagues
SAP experience
Advanced user of MS Excel (mandatory), specifically (but not limited to)
pivot tables/ summaries, vlookup, concatenation, logical formulas such
as SUMIF, etc.
Degree educated – Master degree in Finance from a Major Business School and / or MBA in Finance
